Rachel Smith joined the team in February 2026 as an Executive Assistant, bringing years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. She holds an associate degree in accounting from Ogeechee Technical College, where she graduated with honors. Known for her keen attention to detail and strong industry knowledge, Rachel is a valuable asset to both our organization and our clients.
Originally from Indiana, Rachel moved to the South as a child when her family relocated to Garfield, Georgia. She later settled in Bulloch County in 2017 and is proud to call Statesboro home. She enjoys life there with her two daughters and their miniature Australian Shepherd.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys entertaining, playing poker, tackling home improvement projects, swimming, and gardening—what she fondly describes as her pursuit of creating a life that is “a bed of roses.”
Rachel’s analytical skills, optimism, and determination make her an outstanding professional and a pleasure to work with.
Daryle-Lynn joined CFG in January 2023 as an Executive Assistant and plays a key role in supporting daily office operations. She brings a strong background in customer service, organization, and administrative coordination, along with experience in planning, task execution, and social media management.
A Savannah native, Daryle-Lynn earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from Georgia Southern University in 2012. While in college, she worked as an equipment manager for the university’s football and softball teams, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. She later built her career in the equine industry, working with private facilities throughout Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
Daryle-Lynn remains actively involved in the equestrian community, assisting with local shows and events. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, baking, photography, and traveling, particularly to attend Georgia Southern sporting events or horse shows.
Patty joined the CFG team in June 2021 as an Executive Assistant and brings years of customer service and business experience from law firms, investment firms, and as the clinical manager for a medical practice.
Patty attended the University of Missouri where she majored in Agricultural Business and Accounting. Originally from Missouri, Patty and her husband David relocated with their three children to Rincon, GA in 1996. His career took them to Atlanta and after his retirement they returned to the low country. The joy of her life is her family and her grandchildren. When she is not traveling to Texas, Tennessee or Atlanta to visit them, she and David can be found enjoying country life in south Georgia. With her energetic spirit, you never know what she might be doing…enjoying a beach trip, scuba diving, gardening, hunting/fishing, woodworking or baking in the kitchen!
Christy is the Office Manager and primary assistant to Travis at CFG Wealth Management, LLC, where she plays a key role in delivering exceptional client service. She oversees daily office operations and supports a wide range of client needs, including account setup, deposits, distributions, and account updates.
Before joining CFG in 2014, Christy graduated with honors from Georgia Southern University with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and a minor in Business Management. She went on to spend 15 years in hospitality management with Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Choice Hotels, where she developed a strong foundation in client-focused service. This experience continues to shape her commitment to building meaningful, personalized relationships.
A native of the Bulloch County/Statesboro area, Christy enjoys spending time with her family, caring for her pets, and exploring historic destinations throughout Georgia and beyond.
Travis Chance is the President of CFG Wealth Management, LLC a Registered Investment Advisory firm. In 2005, he chose his career in the financial planning industry after seeing first-hand the dangers that poor financial advice can bring in retirement to his close loved ones. Family is especially important to him, and he is married to his beautiful wife Shannon and they have three incredible daughters. Travis also has his client family that he calls his CFG family and takes a vested interest in not just forming a business relationship but a personal relationship with each of his clients and their families.
Travis specializes in helping clients 55+ and is a practicing (CFP®) Certified Financial Planner™ and holds the (RICP) Retirement Income Certified Professional designation through the American College. He has also attained the (CLTC) Certified in Long Term Care, (AIF) Accredited Investment Fiduciary, (BFA) Behavioral Finance Advisor and (FRC) Federal Retirement Consultant designations. Travis has extensive training in financial planning, estate planning, insurance, investments, taxes, employee benefits and retirement planning, and speaks regularly to groups on these topics.
Education is a cornerstone of CFG Wealth Management, LLC, and Travis regularly attends training to further his in-depth knowledge of his client’s retirement income needs, such as the Ed Slott Master Elite IRA Planning Group, as well as other more focused study groups on retirement topics. He holds his BBA degree from Georgia Southern University (GSU), and Financial Planning education from Kaplan University.
